We welcome Uruguay and Zimbabwe as part of the IFK (Kyokushin)

IFK Uruguay...

Uruguay has joined the IFK with Senpai German Carballo, Nidan becoming the new Country Representative.

Senpai Carballo has practiced Kyokushin for 22 years, obtaining his Shodan from the IFK in 1996. His instructor left the IFK a few years after.

Senpai Carbello opened his own dojo in Montevideo in 2007 before gaining his Nidan in the IKKO in 2010.

He is being assisted by 3 black belts in his dojo and will be holding his first IFK training camp in August under the instruction from Shihan Julio Romero of IFK Argentina.

IFK Zimbabwe...

A new country representative has been appointed for Zimbabwe. Sensei Tawanda Mufundisi stated Kyokushin in 1990 and achieved his rank of Sandan in 2008. Sensei Tawanda brings 8 dojo’s to the organization with the assistance of 5 black belts.

He is the chief instructor of the Kambuzuma Karate Academy, a two –time All African Lightweight Champion and also represented Zimbabwe at the All Kyokushin World Championships in Hungary 2009.
